Wings Over the Rockies
Air and Space Museum

The Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum is the only Denver Museum dedicated to Aviation and Spaceflight Sciences. The museum is definitely one of the worthwhile things to do in Denver if you enjoy Aircraft and History.

DETAILS

This Denver Colorado museum is located in a hanger at the former Lowery Air Force Base. Opened in 1994, the museum displays a number of aircraft and exhibits for the entire family to enjoy. Memorabilia and more is kept on display in the Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame.

The museum is host to several events throughout the year including the Annual Warbirds Over The Rockies held in August just outside Fort Collins, Colorado.

Closed New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Monday through Saturday, 10am - 5pm
Sunday, Noon - 5pm
