March "Free" Events and Activities

Spring comes alive with these family friendly things to do in Colorado. Spring is a great time for a Colorado family vacation. March still offers a considerable amount of snow. Spring Break comes this month and it's a great time to head outdoors.

While there's few events or festivals this month, most families will be hitting the Colorado Ski areas to fit in that last ski week for the season. This is the time to take advantage of some outdoor family bonding activities while everyone is waiting in lift lines.

Come out and support the Colorado Special Olympic Winter Games athletes as they compete in a wide range of winter events. Admission is free and open to the public. You can further support the Colorado Special Olympics Winter Games by attending the 2010 Mardi Gras Bash at the Denver Tech Center Hyatt Hotel in February.
