Telemark Skiing in Colorado

Looking to try something new this ski season? Give a shot at Telemark Skiing. Here is a list of Colorado ski resorts that offer Telemark clinics and lessons. Lessons available include Group or Private for beginner to advanced.

• Telemark lessons are availabe Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am - 12:30pm as well as Saturday and Sunday Full Day. Thursday Lessons give experienced Downhill skiiers the opportunity to learn the art of Telemark skiing.



• Telemark Tuesdays average $50 and Thursday Lessons average $80.



• Saturday's and Sunday's clinics are for all ability levels including 1 monthly kids clinic in January and February.



• Saturday and Sunday full day clinics range from $85 for clinic only and $150 for clinic/lift ticket combo.

• Copper Mountain Resort



• Parking in the Beeler Lot will get you closet to the Telemark center. Parking is $20 daily and the small lot fills up fast.



• Durango Mountain Resort aka (Purgatory)



• Weekday passholders and visitors to the resort can take advantage of the Telemark clinics twice in January and twice in February.



• Clinics start at 10:00am and average $30 for half day lessons. You can purchase a $70 combination lesson/lift ticket pass. The combination pass saves you about $20 on the visitor ticket window rate.



• Eldora Ski Area



• You'll find some great Beginner and Intermediate Telemark packages here at Eldora. Classes are every weekend and holidays from 10:00am - 1:00pm



• Beginner Package - $70 includes rentals, lower lift ticket and 2 hours of instruction.



• Intermediate Package - $80 includes all mountain lift ticket, 2 hours of instruction and rentals.



• Monarch Resort



• Packages are available for all ability levels. Telemark Thursday's includes either by Sessions (which includes 3 consecutive Thursday's) or Individual day sessions.



• Session pricing is $135 and you can choose from January or February sessions. Lesson begin at 1:30pm



• Individual lessons range from $45-$55 (based on season pass holder or parent with child enrolled in a class). Lessons begin at 1:30pm



• Vail Resort



• Beginner and Intermediate Group lessons available on Saturday's. Half day and full day Private lessons available daily for up to 6 people. Two hour lesson when available.



• Beginner group lessons for $80 or $115 with lift ticket. Lesson are from 9:30am - 12:15pm



• Intermediate group lessons available for $80 or $140 with lift ticket. Lessons are from 1:00pm - 3:30pm
