Great Sand Dunes National Park

When you visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park, plan for an all day adventure. The Sand Dunes are located in Alamosa Colorado in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. You'll find the park is close to other attractions such as Zapata Falls, Two Wildlife Refuges (Alamosa and Monte Vista) and the Los Caminos Antiguos Scenic Byway.



The Sand Dunes alone provide some great fun from climbing and sledding to sand boarding and skiing. The area surrounding the Dunes offers even more spectacular family friendly activities.
