Small Town's Are Beautiful!
Various downtown buildings have painted murals on them. Each mural is quite unique. The artistry here is amazing.

Cripple Creek is located in the heart of the "Gold Belt Tour".
The cha-ching feel of striking it rich is alive and well in this little town.
While the Casino's are an obvious attraction, the town has so much more to offer you. In the heart of the Colorado Gold Rush country, the city is rich in the history of Gold Mining from the late 1800's.
We located an excellent video on YouTube by the Cripple Creek District Museum. It's a great 9 minute video packed with lots of information on the assay of Gold as it was done during the Gold Era.
