Located on the Continental Divide. Plan a Keystone ski vacation and you'll be skiing North America's highest ski terrain. Thanks to awesome snow-making machines, you'll also find one of the longest ski seasons in Colorado here at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. Open from late October to early June you have access to one of the most affordable family friendly Colorado ski areas.

Aspen Highlands

One of Four mountains located in Aspen Colorado. Aspen Highlands has the highest percentage of Expert terrain and the overall largest number of trails of all four Aspen Colorado Ski Resorts.

Truly not the top choice for beginners. If your an intermediate head here for some great skiing and shorter lift lines than the other four Aspen Colorado Ski Resorts.

Breckenridge Ski Resort

Breckenridge Ski Resort is a popular destination for locals as well as vacationers. A great ski area for kids with ski lessons beginning as young as 3 years old and snowboard lessons beginning at age 5.

Full day adult lessons average $110.

Due to Breck's popularity you will find the mountain and lift lines to be busier than some of the neighboring ski areas.

Home to the Winter X Games for several years now, Buttermilk Mountain is one of the best Aspen Colorado Ski Resorts for beginners.

Buttermilk offers ski and snowboard lessons for everyone in the family. Lessons go for as little as $169 per person including lesson, rental and lift ticket. First timer lessons are offered to kids as young as 7 years of age.
