Santa's Workshop Nearest City: Woodland Park Region: South Central
For year round Holiday Cheer stop by the North Pole "Home of Santa's Workshop". Perfect destination for families with small children. The kids will be delighted with the rides, the magic shows and having their photo taken in Santa's very own home. Several eateries on the property offer theme park type foods like funnel cakes, hot dogs, burgers and more.

One of my all time favorite Colorado amusement parks is actually a theme based park known as "Royal Gorge Park". This is a fantastic destination for more than just for the kids. It's a great place for the entire family. Extremely dog friendly, we encourage you to bring them along as you walk around.
Royal Gorge Bridge and Park offers great rides, great food, shows and some of the best scenery in Canon City! I chickened out on riding the Skycoaster. We would love to hear about your experiences at Royal Gorge Park, especially if you've braved this ride!
